Dr. Fr. Ranjit Tigga S.J.
(Master’s Degree in Journalism and Ph.D. in Communication from Marquette University, USA.) Provincial Madhya Pradesh Jesuits
Dr. Fr. Ranjit Tigga, S.J. is currently the Provincial of Madhya Pradesh Jesuits (Covering the Indian States of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh). He holds a Master’s Degree in English from Mumbai University and a Master’s Degree in Journalism and Ph.D. in Communication from Marquette University, USA. In Xavier Institute of Development Action and Studies (XIDAS), Jabalpur, he was the Head of the Department of Development Communication from 2007 to 2008, Assistant Director from 2009 to 2010, and the Director from June 2011 to June 2014. He taught Change Management, Managerial Communication, Industrial Psychology, and Counseling Skills at Xavier Institute of Management Jabalpur (XIMJ) from 2006 to 2014. Currently, he is the Head of the Department of Tribal Studies in the Delhi-based Indian Social Institute (ISI), which has been conducting research studies since 1951. Dr. Tigga’s areas of interest include communication, journalism, administration, counseling, leadership, culture and change, and social work. In XIDAS, he was the Asst. Editor (2006-2010) and Editor (2011-2014) of VikashVani Journal (VVJ), a quarterly journal, and in his leadership XIDAS conducted two International Seminars: (1) International Seminar on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in 2012 attended by 350 researchers and academicians from 5 countries and (2) International Seminar on Sustainable Development in 2014 attended by 395 participants from 7 countries. Before joining XIDAS, he worked as a freelance journalist and has contributed to several national and regional newspapers and magazines. He was awarded, Dr. Ambedkar National
Award (New Delhi) in 1996 and Jessica Powers Award (Milwaukee, USA) in 1999. In the Indian Social Institute, New Delhi, Dr. Tigga has been conducting several action research studies, workshops, and seminars on Tribal issues. He conducted a National Seminar on Tribal Rights in India and Demand for Development with Dignity on 4-5 February 2017. He is also the Editor of Women’s Link (quarterly journal) and Hashiye Ki Awaz(monthly magazine) both published by Indian Social Institute.

Dr. Sr. Pauline Nusi
(MBA, PhD in Management), Principal St. Joseph’s Junior Degree and PG College for women, Kurnool
Dr. Sr. Pauline Nusi holds an MBA, Ph.D. in Management. She is currently serving as Principal at St. Joseph’s Junior Degree and PG College for women at Kurnool. Prior to joining the college, she has served as Administrator at St. Theresa’s Hospital, Santhnagar, Hyderabad.

Mr. Dinesh Agrawal
(Mechanial Engineering, GB Pant University), Former CSR & Sustainability, NTPC
Mr. Dinesh Agrawal is an independent professional with more than 39 years of PSU experience in the areas of Governance, Business Responsibility, Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility, Resettlement & Rehabilitation, and land acquisition, etc. He has served as CSR and Sustainability Country Head at NTPC.
He has a special interest in Institutional Strengthening, Stakeholder engagement, negotiation & conflict resolution, Social & Environmental Impact Assessment, Socio-Economic and Need Assessment surveys, training, and capacity building.
He is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from GB Pant University and has undergone Leadership Programme at IIM, Lucknow, LEAD International, UK, and ICH, Norway. He provided leadership for formulating Standards on “Social Accountability at Work Place” & “Guidance on Good Governance” for Bureau of Indian Standard, “National Voluntary Guidelines on Economic, Social and Environmental Responsibilities of Business” and “National Policy on Rehabilitation & Resettlement” for Government of India. He has presented papers in many conferences in India and abroad including Germany and Brazil etc. He is a trainer delivering programs at management schools, academic institutes, NSE-Academy, IICA, LEAD India, and many PSU. He is a LEAD Fellow, a member of various Committees of CII and Bureau of Indian Standards, Advisory Board of Alliance for Integrity, Global Compact India Network, etc. He was awarded “100 most impactful CSR leaders” by World CSR Day.

Dr. Deepak Kumar Behera (Anthropologist)

Dr. Deepak Kumar Behera is currently Vice-Chancellor at kiss University, Bhubaneswar. He was a former professor in the Department of Anthropology, Sambalpur University, India. He served as the Vice-Chancellor of Berhampur University, Sambalpur University, and Rajendra Narayan University at Odisha. He obtained both his Master’s degree (Gold Medalist) and Ph.D. from Sambalpur University. Professor Behera was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at California State University at Long Beach during the Fall semester 2007-08. As the recipient of the DAAD fellowship, Professor Behera was a Guest Professor at Karl Ebrahd University, Tubingen, Germany during April-July 2013. He was also a Visiting Professor in the Dept. of History and Area Studies, Aarhus University, Denmark (2011), Dept. of Anthropology, University of Free
State, Bloemfontein, South Africa (2001, 2003), Dept. of Anthropology, University of Durban-Westville, Durban, South Africa (2001), Institute of Psychology, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (2004) and Maison des Sciences de L’Homme, Paris and CNRS-EHESS, Toulouse (2006). He was the recipient of Carlos Chaga Foundation Fellowship, Brazil, National Research Foundation Fellowship, Republic of South Africa, German Research Council, Germany, Indo-French Fellowship, India/France, Indo-Israel Fellowship, India/Israel. Professor Behera has visited more than 30 countries through 45 overseas tours in different academic connections. He has to his credit more than 100 research publications in reputed journals and edited volumes. Professor Behera has in total authored/edited twenty-two volumes. Of those, eight published volumes of the series Contemporary Society: Tribal Studies (Concept Publishing company, New Delhi) are joint with Professor Georg Pfeffer of the Institute of Ethnology of Free University of Berlin, Germany. He has successfully completed various research projects funded by the University Grant Commission, New Delhi, Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi, Ministry of Welfare, National Literacy Mission Authorities, Winrock International, Shastri Foundation, WHO, German Research Council, etc. Professor Behera has presented papers in international conferences held in Mexico, Germany, Belgium, Sweden, Israel, Denmark, USA, South Africa, etc. He was the Editor of the Journal of Social Sciences (New Delhi) during 1997-2002. Professor Behera served as a member of the Executive Board of International Union of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences (IUAES) for two consecutive terms, i.e. for the period 1998 2009. He is the founding Chairman of the IUAES Commission on Children, Youth, and Childhood.

Dr. Shabeen Ara (Writer & Editor)
(MBA, MA., Ph.D.)
Dr Shabeen Ara, has an MBA, MA and PhD in Sociology from Karnatak University Dharwad, Karnataka. She has been Editor of Social Action published by the Indian Social Institute. She enjoyed teaching Post Graduate management students at XIMJ Jabalpur. Has Experience working for a bi-national organisation on higher education, fellowships, collaborative research and exchange programmes at Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute (SICI). Holds the credit of being the first one to be recruited for PRIA Continuing Education and established the new unit with norms, standards and procedures. She Designed a virtual resource Centre, for the Centre for Extension Education, IGNOU. Strongly advocated for the rights of the aged at HelpAge India. First-hand interaction with Delhi slums and poverty-stricken areas of Delhi as research officer collecting data for Jamia Millia Islamia, Social Work Department. Dr Ara has taken In-depth tours of rural areas as a Project Evaluator at CAPART. Her recent assignments are Director Communications, Suryadatta Group of Management Institutes, Pune where-in she bore the responsibility of the Editor, SURYA-The Energy: Management Research Journal & SURYA Times, monthly Newsletter. Currently, Dr Shabeen Ara is serving as Editor at Dr D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth (Deemed University), Pune.
